Why tooth-colored fillings
Composite fillings blend in, require less removal of healthy tooth than old silver fillings, and bond directly to the tooth for a strong, sealed repair. We can also replace old metal fillings if you'd like a more natural look.
What to expect
We numb the area, gently remove the decay, and place and shape the filling, hardening it with a light. Most fillings are done in a single, comfortable visit. If a cavity is too large for a filling, we'll talk through a crown or inlay or onlay.
Catching cavities early
Regular checkups catch decay while a small filling is all that's needed.
