What happens at your visit
We review your health, take X-rays when due, clean above the gumline, and examine your teeth, gums, and bite. We also screen for oral cancer. You'll leave knowing exactly what's healthy and what, if anything, needs attention.
Laser bacterial reduction (optional)
If you're prone to gum issues, we can add a quick laser bacterial reduction step at your cleaning to lower harmful bacteria. It's gentle, takes only a moment, and is one of our most common uses of the laser.
Cleaning vs deep cleaning
A routine cleaning maintains healthy gums. If you have gum disease, you may need a deep cleaning instead, which treats infection below the gumline. We'll only recommend it if you truly need it.
