Release a tongue-tie or lip-tie, gently.
Our soft-tissue laser frees a restrictive frenum in minutes, with little bleeding and a quicker, more comfortable recovery.
Tongue-tie and lip-tie
A tongue-tie can affect nursing in infants, and speech, eating, or oral hygiene later on. A lip-tie can pull on the gums and contribute to a gap between the front teeth or gum recession. If you've been told you or your child has one, an exam tells us whether release will help.
Why the laser
The laser releases the frenum precisely and seals tissue as it works, so there's usually very little bleeding, often no need for stitches, and a faster recovery than with traditional surgery. See more about our laser dentistry →.
Comfort and aftercare
We numb the area and keep the visit calm. Most people are surprised how quick it is. We'll send you home with simple stretches and aftercare to support smooth healing.
