Dr. Nguyen does root canals in-house, fully numbed and unhurried, to save your natural tooth without a referral across town.
A root canal here isn't what you're picturing.
Endodontics treats infection or damage inside a tooth, most often with a root canal. A root canal removes the infected pulp, cleans and seals the inside of the tooth, and lets you keep your natural tooth instead of pulling it. Dr. Nguyen performs root canals in-house at PARCS Dentistry in Las Vegas.

Why save the tooth
A natural tooth, even one that needs a root canal, is almost always better to keep than to lose. It protects your bite, your neighboring teeth, and your jawbone. After the root canal, we usually protect the tooth with a dental crown.
What to expect
We confirm the diagnosis, numb the tooth completely, and clean out the infection while you relax. Many patients tell us it felt no different than a filling. If you're anxious, we offer sedation. Learn more on the root canal page →.

Questions?
Here's everything you need to know before you reach out.
Does a root canal hurt?
With modern anesthesia it shouldn't. We numb the tooth fully, and most patients say it felt like a routine filling.
Do you do root canals in-house?
Yes, Dr. Nguyen performs root canals here, so you don't get sent to a separate specialist for most cases.
Will I need a crown after?
Usually yes, to protect the treated tooth long term.
