Why a cracked tooth is urgent
Cracks don't heal on their own. The sooner we look, the more likely we can save the tooth with a smaller fix. Waiting often means a deeper crack and a bigger treatment.
How we treat it
We numb you, examine the tooth and X-ray, and explain the options and cost before starting. A shallow crack may only need bonding; a deeper one may need a crown; if the nerve is involved, a root canal protects the tooth; and if it's split too far, we'll talk through replacement.
